Glooscap Energy, a division of Glooscap First Nation is proud to announce the activation of their newest and largest solar array to date. The 75 kw solar array was installed on the rooftop of Seakist Lobster, another Glooscap First Nation owned business located in Yarmouth, NS.
The 500 module solar array has the ability to power 14 homes and will generate revenue for Glooscap through a 25 year power purchase agreement with Nova Scotia Power.
This is the second power purchase agreement that Glooscap has received from Nova Scotia Power in the past 2 years.
